General Settings

Content Protection enables the protection of any and all content using MemberDash. This should be left on unless you need to instantly disable all Content Protection and make all content visible.

Hide admin toolbar is on by default, in order to prevent the WordPress toolbar from displaying across the top of your logged in user’s visits to your site. If you toggle this off, users can access a limited WordPress dashboard, along with viewing their Subscriber WordPress user profile.

Use WordPress Cron for sending emails is also on by default, as this triggers automated emails hourly. If you disable this, please check with your web host to enable a separate cron.

Speed up results is off by default, as it caches your site content for 12 hours. If you are adding new content frequently, it’s best to leave this disabled so users always see new content right away. If your site is more static, but has heavy traffic, this will help with your server load.

Force Default Gateway is off by default, as in most cases a single payment gateway is in use by choice. However, if you have enabled Manual Payments plus a payment gateway, this will force the payment gateway instead of permitting Manual Payments.

Enable account verification is off by default, but is recommended if your site is experiencing invalid site registrations. Toggling this on will force all users to verify their email address before they are able to access the protected content.

Navigation

The Navigation Pages settings is a shortcut to enable basic MemberDash pages to appear in your site’s Primary Navigation. You can toggle them on here, or in WordPress > Appearance > Menus. All of these are off by default to give you total control.

Membership Pages

MemberDash automatically creates necessary Membership pages on activation, and assigns them to the correct settings. You can select other Pages for these options, but if you do so, make sure you include expected information (Registration Form on Registration Page, etc.)

You can View or Edit any of these pages with the handy links beneath each page listed.
