MemberDash Module Profile Fields

Note: To view a list of all available add-ons and enable the ones you want, navigate to MemberDash >Modules

To enable Profile Fields, navigate to MemberDash > Modules and scroll down until you see the Profile Fields section and click the switch to enable it.

Once it’s enabled, you’ll notice a Profile Fields option in MemberDash > Settings.

Click on that option to open the Profile Fields settings.

Here you’ll be presented with some additional fields that you can add to your Registration and Profile forms.

Profile Fields can be made visible in three places:

  • MemberDash Registration Form
  • User Account Screen
  • User Profile Screen (WordPress Admin)

Setting a field as Required for Registration, and unselected for the Profile Form, means that the data will be visible to the site administrator only.

If it is set as Read-Only on the Profile Form, then the field can be filled out during registration, but not edited afterwards by the Site User.

Setting the Registration and Profile Form to Optional will allow the Site User to fill it in, and edit it later, at their discretion.

Choosing “Required” for Registration and Profile Form forces the Site User to fill out those selected fields, and they will be displayed on the User Account Screen and WordPress User Profile Screen (and can be edited in both places).
