The University of Michigan Center for Socially Engaged Design needed a scalable way to teach students the critical skills necessary to travel safely to foreign countries and design solutions that solve complex social problems.

To accomplish these goals, they chose LearnDash and hired 3.7 Designs, an Ann Arbor based web design firm that specializes in LearnDash implementations. When critical student skills are needed, the University of Michigan made LearnDash their choice.

LearnDash is powering 17 courses for the University of Michigan, with 4 custom add-ons. There are 10 student groups going through these courses, with a reported 85% passing rate.

“LearnDash has a robust and easy-to-use feature set which allowed us to get an eLearning program up and running in a very short period of time,” says Ross Johnson from the Univeristy of Michigan. “As the program grew, the well-developed codebase allowed us to build several custom add-ons tailoring the platform to the specific needs of our client.”
