See You At WordCamp Ann Arbor

collaborative-meetingFor those of you who may not know, Ann Arbor (Michigan) is where the LearnDash office calls “home”.

During this time of year it has a brisk-cool breeze and the trees are brightly colored as we are in the middle of the fall season.

It’s a perfect time of year to get together with like-minded individuals to learn and discuss WordPress – and that’s precisely what is happening this weekend!

This weekend we are really excited to participate in WordCamp Ann Arbor.

What is a “WordCamp”?

If you’re not familiar with WordCamps, they are one (or multiple) day long conferences dedicated to all things WordPress.

They offer a great opportunity for you to meet the people behind the WordPress products and services you use, discover how other people are using WordPress, learn new development skills, and network with others in the WordPress ecosystem.

This year WordCamp Ann Arbor’s schedule is split into four distinct topics:

  • User
  • Developer
  • Business
  • Designer

You can see a full schedule of the day’s discussions on this page of the event website.

The keynote speaker for the event will be John Eckman, CEO of the very well-known and respected design & development agency 10up.

Whether you just want to meet others who share your WordPress interests or learn a new skill, WordCamps offer something for everyone.

At the end of the event there is an after-party gathering at a local restaurant where you can relax, network, and enjoy the downtown Ann Arbor environment.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
