We’re pleased to announce the latest release of ProPanel 2.2.0! Whether you’re an existing customer of LearnDash or are brand new to LearnDash ProPanel, this release is jam-packed with updates for everyone.

What’s New?

The standout highlight of this release is undoubtedly our new enhancements for the WordPress Block Editor. Blocks are the easy way to supercharge your ProPanel reporting, and most importantly, they allow you to bring reports to the front-end of your site within editing tools you’re familiar with.

Using the new blocks allows you to build a custom front-end reporting dashboard to share with your team to keep them away from the WordPress admin.

And if you’re wondering, these new blocks support all of the standard WordPress block editor goodness, including previews, so you know what they’ll look like before going live.

We didn’t stop there, though! We also added various fixes and minor improvements to ensure ProPanel works in all gears to keep your reports running smoothly.

What’s Next for ProPanel?

We’re dedicated to making ProPanel the best reporting tool for all of your reporting needs and insights. We’re currently working on plans for the next ProPanel release and look forward to sharing more soon!

Changelog

In case you missed it, the changelog for this release is below:

  • Feature: Added Block Editor support – Note: Requires LearnDash LMS v4.8.0 or higher to be installed.
  • Fix: If a Course Report is generated without setting a Course, the Report can mistakenly look like rows of duplicate results. We added the Course Title to each row when no Course filter was applied to make it clear what each row refers to
  • Fix: The date fields in the Filtering Widget have had their styling updated to ensure they do not appear locked
  • Tweak: Widgets will now show a default view displaying the same data as if the Filtering Widget were submitted without choosing any settings
  • Tweak: If the Filtering Widget exists on a page and the other Widgets are given their own settings, those settings will be used on the initial page load rather than being ignored

We hope you love this release as much as we enjoyed building it! As always, if you have any questions or need support, contact our support team via your account; they’ll be happy to help!
