Yes. A single license includes both iOS and Android versions of the LearnDash App.

Yes. The app connects directly to your WordPress backend and syncs content with your site’s database, so it works regardless of which WordPress theme you use.

The app supports all core LearnDash features, including course management, quizzes, and progress tracking. It also supports in-app purchases (IAP) and access controls for popular membership plugins such as MemberPress, Paid Memberships Pro, Restrict Content Pro, WooCommerce Memberships, and LearnDash Groups & Memberships.

Backend-only plugins (e.g., WP Fusion) generally work out of the box.

Frontend plugins (e.g., WooCommerce) can be displayed using the web fallback method. This opens the plugin’s mobile-optimized page inside the app, removing unnecessary headers/footers while keeping native navigation.

Yes. Interactive content such as quizzes, flashcards, and interactive videos created with H5P works seamlessly inside the LearnDash App.

No. CSS is browser-based and does not apply to native apps. The app has its own design system, and your site content adapts to it.
However, CSS does apply to any content displayed in the app using the web fallback method.

Yes. You can fully brand your app with your own app icon, splash screen, login screen, and color scheme. All configuration options are available in the LearnDash App menu in your WordPress dashboard.

Your app will be published under your own Apple and Google developer accounts. If you use the same Bundle ID (Apple) or KeyStore Certificate (Android), you can even replace an existing app with the LearnDash App.

Approval depends entirely on Apple and Google’s guidelines. While we cannot guarantee approval, we have an excellent track record of successful submissions. Unless your content or business model violates store rules, rejection is unlikely.

No. You can launch the app without a traditional website front-end if you wish to offer courses only through the mobile app. Note that you will still need a WordPress website to create your courses on the backend (even if that site isn’t publicly used).

The app is optimized for performance and scalability. If your LearnDash site runs well on your current hosting, the app should work fine too. However, avoid shared hosting. For high traffic, choose a reliable server that allows scaling resources as needed.

Yes. The app follows your main site language and also supports translation of app-specific keywords, including RTL (Right-to-Left) languages.

Yes. Users can download courses to their app library for offline learning. Progress is synced automatically once they reconnect to the internet.

  • Offline videos are supported via Vimeo or the WordPress media library.

Audio files can also be used, provided direct file access is allowed.

Yes. With App Pages, you can use the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) to design custom mobile pages, manage content from the dashboard, and instantly sync changes to your app.

When implementing the app yourself, if all your content and assets are ready, the setup usually takes 2 to 14 days, depending on your skills and website configuration.
Once submitted, Apple and Google typically take 5–7 days to approve and publish your app.
