2016 ELearning & Training Conferences
With the new year comes new opportunities to network with others in the elearning industry. One of the best ways to do this is by attending a conference.
First, conferences are a great way to become familiar with the latest trends in the industry. You will often see companies and individuals showcasing new tech tools and gadgets. It’s quite entertaining.
Another great thing about these kinds of conferences is that you often have the opportunity to learn something new, even earn accreditation towards a certification. Seminars are usually held in the days leading up to the actual conference.
It should be said that there are some natural challenges when it comes to attending elearning and training conferences.
Naturally there are costs involved with attending (including accommodations). These are more manageable if your company is sponsoring your trip, but not everyone is in that position.
Unfortunately many of these events come with a hefty price-tag. It’s because of this reason that I am seriously considering starting a virtual elearning conference.
Nonetheless, if it is within your budget and can fit into your schedule then you should attend a conference.
Below are a few worth noting for 2016. All of the conferences listed take place in the United States.
