It may be the end of the year but the WordCamps are still going strong!

Just this past October we attended WordCamp Ann Arbor (which was right in our backyard).

This coming weekend I will be in Philadelphia for WordCamp U.S., the WordPress industry’s largest conference for all WordPress.

What is WordCamp U.S.?

WordCamp U.S. is actually a new concept.

In the past years the largest WordCamp was in San Francisco and it always boasted some really fantastic talks and networking opportunities.

As WordPress has grown in use, an idea was put into motion where WordCamp San Francisco would “hit the road” The idea now is that the largest WordCamp will now take place in different cities throughout the United States. The next two will be in Philadelphia.

If you are at all interested in learning more about WordPress and you are relatively close to Philadelphia then it would certainly be worth the trip. As of this article there are still tickets available.

You will find that the weekend is packed with some really great sessions – there really is something for everyone.

What’s more, you can meet and talk to people who are using WordPress in various ways. You’ll find bloggers, freelance developers, theme shops, design agencies among the crowd.

As is usual at events like this, there is time set aside for learning and additional opportunities for networking at a couple of evening events. If you can’t make it, then there is also the opportunity to attend by live stream.

If you are a current LearnDash user (or are just interested in meeting), then I hope to see you there!
