Powerful LearnDash Engagement Trigger

One of the reasons WordPress is so great for online learning is because of how it often enables you to tap into other useful features without much effort.

In the simplest of ways this is done by leveraging another plugin. For example, you can add a forum to your WordPress learning management system by simply installing and activating bbPress. Using the LearnDash-bbPress integration, courses can have associated forums.

Perhaps just as important as ease of use is the fact that you don’t bloat your LMS unnecessarily. In other words, you don’t have all the components for a forum on your site unless you actually plan to use them.

Adding Learner Engagement is Easy

Learning management systems today are constantly trying to find ways to allow for engagement triggers.

LearnDash is no exception. In fact, it’s a major reason why we added our Zapier integration.

This integration gives an unprecedented amount of flexibility in the LMS space. Your courses (and actions within courses) can now link to nearly any application – some of which can directly increase level of learner engagement.

By way of example, let’s say that you have a course with several lessons. At the end of each lesson is an important quiz. In order for the learner to move on in the course they have to reach a passing score, but unfortunately not everyone passes the quiz.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could provide assistance to this learner immediately after they finished the quiz?

Well using LearnDash and Zapier you can!

Using an application like LiveAgent, you can open up a live chat conversation as soon as a quiz is failed which allows you to check in with the learner to see if they need additional assistance.

This is a perfect way to point the learner to additional resources, answer their questions, and to keep them motivated.

There are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of different learner engagement triggers that are possible.

If you’re curious about LearnDash and how it can improve your elearning courses, do not hesitate to send us a note! We would be happy to discuss with you the goals for your program and how you can reach them.
