LAST CHANCE: Suggest or Vote on LearnDash Features

One of the things we are most excited about for our WordPress LMS here at LearnDash is the fact that it is actually built by the eventual users.   We put a lot of importance on the suggestions we receive from the community, particularly on our UserVoice site and the emails that we receive.  Admittedly, we cannot be all things to everyone, so I’m sure that there will be some people who prefer different functionality (and hey, perhaps it will eventually make its way into the solution given enough demand).

With this in mind, we still want to meet the needs of the most people we can – and to do this we plan to roll out LearnDash with strategic consulting to our customers.   And while no pricing structure has been determined quite yet, every hosted account comes with a LearnDash Strategic Learning Consultant to help you implement your LMS (note: there will also be a one-time download option available for those who want to host their own LMS).

So, this brings me to the point of this post.  We are now at the point where we are about to be set on our main functionality – as such, this is your last opportunity to either:

1. Vote on functionality you prefer

2. Submit ideas for additional functionality

You can do this from our WordPress LMS UserVoice site.  And as always, thank you to those who have emailed words of encouragement and suggestions.

  1. I have to agree with just about all of the top 5 – 10 user votes on the user voice.
Beyond the basic things expected in an LMS (i.e. create content, organize content, present content, login in, discussions), there are some key ones I think will set LearnDash apart.

Connection to a shopping cart/paypal (allows course and subscriptions)
    Certificate Generator
SCORM compliant (1.x for now, Tin Can future)
    Good user tracking
Works on Mobile devices (tablets and phone size)

Good luck. Looking forward to it!

  2. Here is my preference:
    – robust question bank and quiz system
    – exhaustive reporting system
    – a clear archival process of student data/grades etc
