cubepointsIt’s all the rage these days, right?  Gamification is what everyone is trying to incorporate into their classroom or corporate environment in some way, shape, or form.  I think when done right, “gamifying” elements of learning certainly has its advantages (but let’s not get carried away) 🙂

For many people, adding some sort of gaming seems like quite the task – but for a WordPress LMS, it is actually quite easy.  We looked into creating our own game mechanism for LearnDash, but as many of you know, there are plugins out there for just about anything – sure enough, there is one for adding a simple gaming layer to your learning management system.

Let me formally introduce you to CubePoints, a simple (and free) WordPress plugin that instantly creates a reward system for users interacting with your LMS.  Using this nifty tool, you can reward users for logging in, leaving comments/answer questions on your lessons, and more.  You can also display point leaders and administer contests!

Pretty simple huh?

Quite honestly, in order to incorporate this type of gaming would take either time or money in most other learning management systems. This is the power of WordPress and the its immense support community.  If you want to expand your LMS?  Click a couple buttons and you have gamification, forums, chat features, and so on.  In today’s social learning environment,  it just makes sense.

Not sure how to get started?  Just drop us a line and we’d be happy to assist you in getting LearnDash set-up for your organization or classroom!
