LearnDash UpdatesToday we are pleased to release two new back-end features, both of which the direct result of conversations we have had in the support forums.

Before jumping into the details, we want to first thank you for all of your continued involvement in LearnDash’s feature development. Your comments and suggestions have been very much appreciated.

Without further ado, let’s get onto the updates…

Focusing on the Admin Experience

The last update focused primarily on front-end visuals, whereas this update is to help make life a little easier from a user and course management standpoint.

While we know you want your users to enjoy their experience with your LearnDash powered courses, we also understand that you want ease-of-use from an administration perspective as well.

Group (Mass) Course Enrollment

The LearnDash grouping feature makes it possible to organize users into specific groups based on class or department. With this new update, you can now enroll an entire group of users into one or more courses with the click of a button!

Besides saving time with the manual enrollment process, one additional benefit of this update is that you can now drip content to your users at the exact same time. Simply create a group, select the course(s) they should be enrolled in, and click “SAVE”.

If you have drip (scheduled) content for your courses, all the users will now be delivered the content on the same schedule.

To use this new feature, just go to USERS > LEARNDASH GROUPS from your dashboard.

Course Organization Filters

We know that many of you are using LearnDash to deliver a large number of courses. Naturally, as you start to build out lessons, topics, and quizzes, it can all become quite a bit to manage. That’s why with this latest update we have introduced new back-end filters!

The mappings include:

  • Lesson to Course mapping
  • Topic to Lesson mapping
  • Topic to Course Mapping
  • Quiz to Course Mapping

Need to see find a Topic for a specific Lesson? No problem, just use one of the filters!

Restructuring of Folders

In addition to the two items above, we restructured many of the LearnDash folders and removed some hardcoded elements to allow for easier templating. With this in place, creating themes around LearnDash just became a little bit easier.

Again, we want to thank you for your continued faith in our product and service. To return the favor, you can expect continual updates to our WordPress LMS! 🙂

Until next time!
