E-Learning Revolution: Industry Facts You Need To Know
Did you know that there are over 1 BILLION people currently in a training course? In fact, over 4.5 million students are currently taking one course online. This may seem surprising, but it makes perfect sense when you consider that 40% of every dollar spent on training is spent on travel costs.
It’s no surprise that our industry is growing by leaps and bounds as technology opens an entire world of possibilities. The economies of scale that can be obtained through e-Learning programs is on a level never seen before in business or educational institutions. It’s clear that there is a revolution occurring, and e-Learning is the white knight leading the charge. I wouldn’t be surprised to see mobile learning start to take over some of the market as well as that technology advances.
