Part of the success of any online course is the layout and design. If you need a modern, clean design then look no further than Academy Pro by StudioPress.
For years StudioPress has pumped out very attractive themes, and recently they added a new template to their catalogue for online courses. The theme is called Academy Pro, and as you can see in the video above it is a great looking theme.
For those of you who may not know of StudioPress, they are the folks behind a variety of project – least of which being the Genesis Framework. This framework has gained quite a following as it is extremely well-built (meaning well-coded). It plays nice with popular plugins like WooCommerce, it loads quickly (very important), and has useful SEO tools so that it can perform well for the search engines.
When it’s all said and done you will be hard pressed to find a theme framework that is as good as Genesis.
Oh, and it is probably also worth noting that LearnDash courses look absolutely great on the theme as well!
If you don’t yet have the Genesis Framework then the cost of the theme will be higher because you need to purchase both (the framework and the theme). However, if you do currently have Genesis then the price drops significantly.

I’m in the early phases of building and online course. I’ve already bought LearnDash, but am still researching themes.
Have you seen any online courses built on Generate Press. It looks like a great theme as well.

Yes that’s a very nice theme. Many people choose it as it’s pretty easy to work with and looks good with page builders like Elementor and Beaver Builder.
I *really* wanted to love this theme since I’m a StudioPress owner, but BBPress looks terrible on it when you’re viewing individual forums. And the main http://example.com/forums layout doesn’t even render properly.
I have the theme up and running and have utlised the new update for Learn Dash 3.0 however there are some glitches on the back end for users when they’re enrolled onto the course.
