Over the past few years we have seen a dramatic rise in the number of online training programs that are available.

This is in part due to the rise of massive open online courses (MOOCs), led by industry juggernaut Coursera.

However there have been many other offerings that have hit the scene.

Some of these platforms specialize in a specific industry or topic while others are more generic.

Regardless you are likely to find an online course that works for you.

Typically the easiest way to find a course or training program to take online is to open up Google and do a basic search. You’ll likely find something that fits your needs.

But search results only display part of the story.

There may very well be other courses worth considering that don’t show up on the first page of Google’s results (and let’s be honest, no one really goes beyond the first page).
