3 FREE Alternatives to Adobe Photoshop
Not all of us in instructional design can whip up a professionally altered photo in Photoshop. Try these 3 FREE alternatives instead! Personally I find Photoshop tool rather confusing (I know I’m not the only one), so I more often than not use one of these tools to get the job done 10x faster.
If you don’t have the time to read Photoshop tutorials and you just want to make your pictures look great (with effects, cleaning them up, or just altering their output file), then you’ll find great use in one of these 3 Photoshop alternatives.
They all pretty much do the same thing, but with slight variations – one of them should be able to do what you need. Enjoy!
1. PicMonkey
Pretty basic and user friendly (although the animal names for companies like these are getting old)
2. BeFunky
This one is my favorite, both user friendly and has some pretty cool features. May take 15min or so to get used to at first but it is smooth sailing after that.
3. iPiccy
Another favorite of mine (I bounce between 2 and 3) as it offers some pretty cool features in a snap!
Don't Miss Out!

GIMP, and built in Preview in OS and Paint in Windows are surely sufficient.
