free-adobe-illustratorThere have been countless times that I have been on the phone with a client trying to help them set-up their learning management system, and the entire process is always made easier when I am able to share my screen to help explain some LearnDash functionality. There are many tools out there to help with this process, many big names like GoToMeeting, FuzeBox, make screen sharing quite easy. An added bonus is that these two solutions come with a toll-free phone number as well.

Some people prefer to use Skype for a lot of this, but this isn’t always ideal. For example, we may get a call to our land line, and it is rather inconvenient to ask the customer to pull up skype (or download it and create an account should they not have an account). We need something that is instant, easy, and instant. That’s why we use Screen Leap.

In a sentence, Screen Leap is the absolute best option out there for quickly sharing your screen – you don’t even need to create an account. Simply click the “Share Your Screen” button and you’re in business. You’ll get a unique link, and all you do is email it to the parties that need to see your screen. That’s it. Best of all, it’s 100% free (for now).

Chances are Screen Leap will be purchased by some larger investment firm and then be monetized in some fashion, but for now it’s free for all to use and enjoy. Give it a try – it’s perfect for giving demonstrations, helping your grandmother navigate her computer, or showing your dad how to “copy and paste” 🙂
